King’s India Masters Scholarships in UK, 2017-2018

King’s College London is offering, ‘King’s India Masters Scholarship’ in 2017-2018 for Indian applicants. Scholarship program is available for full time master’s degree program.
The aim of the King’s India masters scholarship is to enable and encourage academically able students from India.
The objective of King’s College London is to manage the student life cycle from admission to graduation and to ensure a coherent and seamless student experience and effective administrative process.
University will normally be looking for a minimum cumulative GPA of around 3.3-3.5 on a 4.0 scale for most courses. If applicants’ first language is not English they must be able to provide recent evidence that their spoken and written command of the English language is adequate for the programs for which they have applied.
Course Level: Scholarship program is offered for full-time postgraduate master’s programs, in one of the eligible programs at King’s College London during the 2016/17.
Study Subject: Scholarships are offered in diverse fields to help students in upgrading their education.
Scholarship Award: Covers international fees, bench fees (if applicable) & stipend
Scholarship can be taken in the UK
Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following guidelines:
  • Be due to commence an MPhil/PhD research degree programme in any Faculty at King’s College London during the 2017/18 academic year.
  • Be classified as overseas fee status
  • Have submitted all the required application materials by the funding deadline
Nationality: Scholarships are open to Indian students.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: The differing grading systems at Indian universities will be taken into consideration. If applicants degree is graded as a Grade Point Average, note that university will normally be looking for a minimum cumulative GPA of around 3.3-3.5 on a 4.0 scale for most courses.
Test Requirement: Not Required
English Language Requirements: If applicants’ first language is not English applicants must be able to provide recent evidence that their spoken and written command of the English language is adequate for the program for which applicants have applied. The level of English language which the applicants are required to demonstrate is dependent upon the program for which applicants have applied. The level of English required for each program is denoted by a five-band system, each band corresponds to a level of English language competence.
How to Apply: In order to be considered for an award, candidates must:
  • First, apply to King’s College London for a research degree programme using the online admissions application
  • Ensure to tick the box and enter the code 1718-PGR-INT at item 5 (Award Scheme Code or Name) on the funding part of the KCL Application Form
    * PLEASE NOTE: students who have already applied for admissions, and those who previously applied but deferred entry to 2017/18, will be required to update their application for 2016/17 with the code 1718-PGR-INT by the same deadline of 15 January 2017, 23:59 GMT.
    Please be aware that material from your admissions application will be extracted and used as part of the assessment/selection process, therefore it is our expectation that your admissions application will be complete with supporting references and transcripts by the application deadline of 23:59 GMT on 15 January 2017. It is your responsibility to ensure that this information is provided in time.
