Griffith University is offering Griffith International Postgraduate Coursework Excellence Scholarships for the academic year 2017-2018. Scholarships are available for new future international students applying for postgraduate coursework studies at Griffith University.

Northern Arizona University Presidential Scholarship for International Students in USA, 2017-2018

Northern Arizona University is offering undergraduate scholarships for degree-seeking international students. The award is for $10,000 for the first academic year only; $5,000 for the first fall and $5,000 for the first spring semester of enrollment and is applicable to tuition only.
Northern Arizona University is a public research university with the main campus at the base of the San Francisco Peaks in Flagstaff, Arizona, a branch campus in Yuma, Arizona, and community campuses statewide.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing an undergraduate degree at Northern Arizona University.

Eligibility: 
  • All new F-1 undergraduate, degree-seeking international students applying to the Flagstaff campus will be considered.  There are a limited number of these scholarships and priority will be given to applicants that apply by the recommended deadlines of March 1 for the fall semester and October 1 for the spring semester.  In addition, students with at least 3.0 GPA or equivalent will be given priority consideration for this award.  Students entering under an agreement are excluded from consideration.
  • The award cannot be deferred and the acceptance of the award must be signed, scanned and returned to studynau-at-nau.edu no later than May 1 for students accepted for the fall semester and November 1 for students accepted for spring semester.
Nationality: International students can apply for these undergraduate scholarships.

Swansea University Developing Futures Scholarships in UK, 2017-2018

Swansea University is awarding scholarships for international students. These scholarships are available to study full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programme at the School of Management in September 2017.
The aim of the Swansea University scholarship is to enable and encourage academically able international students.
Swansea University is a research-led university that has been making a difference since 1920. The University has enjoyed a period of tremendous growth, and we have achieved our ambition to be a top thirty research university, soaring up the 2014 Research Excellence Framework league table to 26th in the UK from 52nd in 2008.
SWELT is the official English language test for international students wishing to study at Swansea University. The test is designed, administered and marked by English Language Training Services staff and is accepted by Swansea University as an alternative to IELTS as part of applicant’s application for a CAS.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programme.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded at the School of Management.
Scholarship Award:

60 International Research Scholarships at University of Technology, Sydney in Australia, 2017-2018


 University of Technology, Sydney is offering up to 60 International Research Scholarships for the academic year 2017-2018. These scholarships will be awarded to eligible international candidates who demonstrate exceptional research potential.
It is aimed at attracting high-quality international students to work in areas of research strength.
The University of Technology Sydney is a university in Sydney, Australia. The university was founded in its current form in 1988, although its origins trace back to the 1870s. It is part of the Australian Technology Network of universities.
Applicants are generally required to hold the equivalent of a relevant master’s or bachelor’s degree with first or second class honours (division 1) or an equivalent or higher qualification.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing research programme at the University of Technology, Sydney.
Study Subject: Scholarships are offered in diverse fields to help students in upgrading their education.
Scholarship Award: The UTS IRS only covers the tuition fees for a period of two years for a Research Masters degree or three years for a Research Doctorate degree. The UTS IRS is not transferable to another institution. The mandatory cost of a standard Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is not covered by the UTS IRS.
Number of Awards: 60 scholarships are available.
Scholarship can be taken in Australia
Eligibility: To be eligible for the UTS IRS, a student must:

  • be an overseas student as defined in the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (Cth); and
  • purchase and maintain a standard OSHC policy approved by the Commonwealth government Department of Health and Ageing; and
  • be commencing full-time enrolment in a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) at UTS;
  • be undertaking study in a subject area identified by the University as one of its areas of research 

  • concentration; and
  • not hold a research qualification regarded by the University to be equivalent to an Australian research doctorate degree or, if undertaking a research master’s degree, not hold a research qualification regarded by the provider to be equivalent to or higher than an Australian research master’s degree; and
  • not have held an Australian Agency for International Development scholarship within the two years prior to commencing the UTS IRS; and
  • not be receiving a scholarship for which course tuition is a component under any other scholarship scheme to which the Australian Government makes a substantial contribution; and
  • not previously have received a UTS IRS for a research doctorate degree, unless converting to a research master’s degree; and
  • not previously have received an UTS IRS for a research master’s degree, unless: ii) that degree was completed and the student is immediately undertaking a research doctorate degree; or ii) the student has converted their HDR under paragraph 3.25.15 of the Commonwealth Scholarships Guidelines (Research) 2010
Applicants should ensure that they submit their completed application, including all required supporting documentation, by the relevant application deadline. Incomplete and late applications will not be considered.

Victoria Doctoral Scholarships for New Zealand and International Students in New Zealand, 2017-2018


The Victoria University of Wellington is offering 35 doctoral scholarships for New Zealand and international students. These scholarships are available for pursuing doctoral or PhD degree programme.
University’s aim is to provide a learning environment to help students achieve their full potential, but they will also provide support if they have difficulties.
Victoria University has a tradition of fostering strong global links in teaching and research and programmes of national significance and international quality.
Victoria’s English language requirements are strict and not negotiable. If student’s first language is not English, they must provide evidence of English proficiency before they will be accepted as a PhD candidate. 
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing doctoral or PhD degree at Victoria University. These scholarships are awarded on academic merit and are open to New Zealand and international students in any discipline.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in any discipline.
Number of Awards: 35 scholarships are available.
Scholarship Award: Scholarships include a $23,500 stipend annually + tuition fees.

Eligibility: 
  • The Scholarships are open to graduates of any university within or outside of New Zealand who intend to enrol full time for a doctorate (PhD) at Victoria University or who have commenced their doctoral study at Victoria University.
  • These scholarships are awarded on academic merit and are open to New Zealand and international students in any discipline.
  • The Scholarships are open to graduates of any university within or outside of New Zealand who intend to enrol full time for a doctorate (PhD) at Victoria University or who have commenced their doctoral study at Victoria University.
Nationality: New Zealand and international students can apply for Victoria Doctoral Scholarships.
College Admission Requirement: To enrol for the PhD student must meet the prescribed academic standard and be accepted by a School.
  • Before admission, applicants must have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree with first or upper second class honours or a master’s degree at an equivalent standard at a New Zealand university.
  • Alternatively, students may enrol initially in a master’s degree and then be allowed to transfer to the PhD.
  • In exceptional circumstances; applicants may be permitted to enrol without meeting these criteria if they have extensive relevant experience.
English Language Requirement: Victoria’s English language requirements are strict and not negotiable. If student’s first language is not English, they must provide evidence of English proficiency before they will be accepted as a PhD candidate. Requirements are:
  • TOEFL 575 with (preferably) a TWE of 5, or 237 on the computer-based test; or 90 on the internet-based test with a minimum of 20 in writing; or
  • IELTS overall band of 6.5, no sub-score below 6; or
  • CAE grade B; or
  • a minimum of two ratings of 5 and two ratings of 4 in the Victoria University English proficiency programme test.

  • A 2000-word sample of their academic writing in English
  • Copies of their academic transcript/s and degree certificates
