Egyptian-Italian Research Grant Programme, 2017

Egyptian-Italian Research Grant, which is funded by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) and the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) is open to the researchers of both countries. These grants are available in all fields of Science.
The aim of the grant is to encourage scientific and technological cooperation between Egypt and Italy.
The Academy of Scientific Research & Technology, as the Egyptian House of expertise and National think tank of the country, brings together Egyptian scientists and experts from universities, research institutions, a private sector, NGOs, policymakers, and prominent Egyptian scientists.
Course Level: Grant is available to pursue research programme.
Study Subject: Grant is awarded in all fields of science.
Scholarship Award: The grant will cover the followings:
  • ASRT and CNR each will financially grant the project at their own sides fund by ASRT: 100 000 LE
  • The project fund includes travel expenses (return tickets, accommodation, domestic visits)

Scholarship can be taken in Egypt and Italy
Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
  • Egyptian nationality
  • Working member at Research and Development Institution / Universities based in Egypt
  • Will be considered ineligible If he has 2 running projects funded by ASRT

  • The structure of proposals must correspond to the requirements specified under each section of the proposal template.
  • Incomplete proposals/applications may be considered ineligible. This includes the requested administrative data, the proposal description.
  • The limit for a full proposal is 30 pages.
  • The submitted proposal must include endorsement letter
  • The same proposal to be submitted by the by the Italian PI to CNR
  • The Egyptian PI and Co-PI must be from the same institution

Undergraduate Bursaries Scheme at University of Bradford in UK, 2017

The University of Bradford inviting applications for Undergraduate Bursaries Scheme. The bursary is available to new students (Home and EU students) starting at the University of Bradford in 2017/18.
The aim of the Undergraduate Bursary Scheme is to enable and encourage academically able students.
The University of Bradford is­­­­­­­ a public, plate glass university located in the city of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. The university received its Royal Charter in 1966, making it the 40th university to be created in Britain, but its origins date back to the early 19th century.
The University of Bradford was the first British university to establish a Department of Peace Studies in 1973, which is currently the world’s largest university centre for the study of peace and conflict
Course Level: These bursaries are available to pursue undergraduate programme.

Scholarship Award: Students will receive a payment every year that they meet the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:
  • New students starting at the University of Bradford in 2017/18. Students who are studying for a second degree are not eligible.
  • Home and EU students paying Home fees and studying full time.
  • Family income of under £30,000 as assessed by the relevant student finance service.
  • Students paying the full course fee i.e. £9,250 for a standard degree course or £6,165 for a foundation year. Students on a placement year or those repeating less than 80 credits and paying a partial fee will not be eligible for the bursary payment.
  • Student must be fully engaging with their programme of study, i.e. attending lectures, handing in coursework and sitting exams as outlined in the Faculty Handbook.

The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and reward students from India studying postgraduate coursework programs administered by the School of Chemistry & Molecular Biosciences at The University of Queensland.

Scholarship Award: The value of the scholarship is 50% of the tuition fees payable for the minimum number of units required to complete the program by the student who is awarded the scholarship, for each semester for which it is held.

Eligibility: An applicant is eligible for the scholarship if the applicant –
  • Submits an application to the Head, by the closing date for applications; and
  • Is a citizen of India; and

  • Is able to commence as an international student in Australia on a student visa.

Weiser Professional Development Fellowships in USA, 2018

Scholarship Award: These grants will cover the followings:
