Macedonian Government Undergraduate Scholarships for Foreign Students, 2016

Applications are invited for Macedonian government scholarships available for foreign students. These scholarships are awarded to undertake undergraduate  programme at the University of Information Science and Technology for the academic 2016/2017
The aim of the Macedonian Government Undergraduate Scholarship is to enable and encourage academically able students.
Macedonian Government aims to lead the world in education.
Applicants who have not completed their high school education by May 31, 2016  may receive a conditional offer for admission pending their high school diploma. All students whose first language is not English are required to provide evidence that their spoken and written command of the English language is appropriate for the programme they are applying.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate degree at the University of Information Science and Technology.
Study Subject(s): Scholarships are awarded to pursue undergraduate studies in one of the following programmes:

Scholarship Award: The scholarship provides for:
-full tuition fees;
-visa and residence permit fees

-accommodation and food (full board) at the University’s dorm “Nikola Karev” in Ohrid, the Republic of Macedonia;
-a monthly allowance of 5,000 MKD (approximately 82 EUR);

College Admission Requirement

Supporting Material: All students must send scanned copies of the required documents and the Application form to the following e-mail: biljana.zafirovska-at-mon.gov.mk. The required documents are:
-Application Form
-Official high school diploma or certificate (where applicable);
-Official transcripts;
-Proof of English proficiency. All students whose first language is not English are required to provide evidence that their spoken and written command of the English language is appropriate for the programme they are applying.
-Official general medical report, including medical tests for HIV and Hepatitis C;
-An electronic copy of the Passport which must be valid for the next 4 calendar years;
-In addition, as part of the application, the candidates are required to summit contact details from two academic professors/teachers, who will provide letters of recommendation for the candidate. The candidates are advised to notify the professors ahead of time, in order for the references to be submitted within the application deadline. Both letters are confidential. In case they are sent as hard copy documents, they must be sent in a sealed envelope, signed by the originator of the reference across the seal.
How to Apply: Candidates are required to submit an online application, which will be available on the official scholarship web site of the Ministry of Education and Science or submitted in hard copy, or electronically, to the respective Ministry of Education of the applicant’s home country.

Newcastle University Overseas Research Scholarship in UK, 2016

Newcastle University is offering overseas research scholarship in 2016-17 academic year. The scholarship is available for research program.
Newcastle University’s aim is to be a world-class research-intensive university and deliver teaching and facilitate learning of the highest quality.
The university is governed by a number of statutory bodies. The Executive Board comprises the senior management team that has oversight of the day-to-day running of the University.

Applicants have been assessed as international/overseas for fees purposes, and are wholly or partially self-financingApplicants need a good level of English language to study at Newcastle University. They’ll need to provide a recognised English language test or qualification unless you’re exempt. This is usually a test score of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent, but requirements can vary between IELTS 6.0 to 8.0. All students need at least 5.5 in each sub-skill, or equivalent.
Study Subject(s): Scholarships are provided to learn any of the courses offered by the Newcastle University.

English Language Requirements: Applicants need a good level of English language to study at Newcastle University. Supporting Material: When applicants submit their application, you should include copies of certificates or transcripts to confirm your degree or highest qualification. If any of your documents are in another language you will need to supply certified English language translations. If you are from outside the EU, you will also need to include a copy of the personal details page from your passport.

Must have already applied for and been offered a place to study at Newcastle University before you apply for a NUORS award.  Please complete the NUORS application form? electronically and in accordance with the NUORS regulations, which are provided at the end of the application form.  You will also be required to provide details of an academic referee; the University will then contact your referee directly.  Applications must be submitted electronically via the email address provided below. UNESCO/POLAND Co-Sponsored Fellowships Programme, 2016

Applications are invited for 35 UNESCO/POLAND Co-Sponsored Research Fellowships for applicants from Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Latin America and Caribbean. Fellowships will be given to undertake an individual research programme in the field of Science, Technology and Engineering.
The fellowships are offered with a view to promoting human resource capacities in the developing countries and to enhancing international understanding and friendship among nations and the people of Poland.
Since its creation UNESCO’s mission has been to contribute to the building of peace, poverty eradication, lasting development and intercultural dialogue, with education as one of its principal activities to achieve this aim.
Applicants must hold the Bachelor’s or M.Sc. degrees. Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.
Study Subject(s): Fellowships are awarded in the field of Science, Technology and Engineering.

Scholarship Award: 
Facilities offered by Polish Authorities
(i) Free tuition and access to the university facilities based on the local regulations.
Accommodation at the AGH UST Student Campus organised for fellows by the UNESCO AGH Chair.
(ii) Monthly allowance of 1350 PLN (1 USD = approximately 3.9 PLN) corresponding to the salary of a local junior research fellow. Thus, all living expenses and accommodation in Poland are to be borne by the fellow with this allowance; and;
(iii) A one especial allowance of 1350 PLN to be paid upon arrival in Poland, this sum will cover different activities related to your stay in Krakow, such as an obligatory medical check-up upon arrival (in accordance with the internal regulations for all students); cultural, historical and/or touristic visits, conferences, workshops, and seminars related to your studies.
No provision to finance or lodge family members is made.
At the end of the research studies, the beneficiaries will receive a certificate attesting to their attendance at the host institution, this certificate will be given after receipt of the requested reports and financial clearance from the Institution.
Facilities offered by UNESCO
(i) International travel expenses: (by the most direct, economical route) from the beneficiary’s country to and from Poland will be covered by UNESCO under its Regular Programme Budget.
(ii) Health insurance for fellowship beneficiaries who are declared medically fit: UNESCO fellowship holders may be covered by a health insurance policy, taken-out by the Organization for the duration of fellowship. The costs of this health insurance is subscribed to and covered by UNESCO on behalf of awarded fellows.

Oxford and Cambridge Society of India (OCSI) Scholarships in UK, 2016-2017

Oxford and Cambridge Society of India (OCSI) is offering scholarships for Indian students for the academic year 2016-2017. Scholarships are available for undergraduate, second undergraduate, graduate study and research in any subject available at the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, UK.
The university’s aim is to examine the impact of the division between further and higher education on strategies to widen participation in undergraduate education.
The Oxford and Cambridge Society of India (OCSI) is a not-for-profit alumni organisation based in New Delhi, India. The scholarships offered by OCSI are Equal Opportunity, i.e. the decisions made in awarding these scholarships are not based on race, colour, religion, disability, age (except for maximum age criterion), sex or ancestry. Eligibility:
-Must be a citizen of India
-Must be ordinarily resident in India
-Must be not more than 30 years of age on 1 September of the year of application for the award
-Must be a graduate of an Indian university (applicants who are expected to graduate in the year of the award are also eligible to apply for the awards)
-Must have applied for and secured admission to study a full-time course at the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford. Candidates are required to present proof of admission before grant of the scholarship, and proof of having taking up residence at Cambridge or Oxford before the scholarships funds would be released.
-Must intend to pursue a course of study that is one of the following: o Research leading to the PhD degree o One-year post-graduate courses (e.g. MPhil, LLM, Diploma, CASM or Part III Maths, MBA, PGCE etc.), Taught and research based masters programmes of various durations (including M.
