Here’s How A Semester Abroad Can Give You A New Perspective

Spend a semester at some of the best universities in the world.

Ever wondered why so many students have begun seeking overseas education? Have you also heard people say, "It will change your life, you'll come back a new person."
Well, it's true; studying abroad can definitely change you in a lot of ways as it holds the strength to directly impact your lives, and change your perspective towards things.
But what if we told you that you could get the same exposure and learnings while studying at a university in your own country?
No kidding, you don't have to spend thousands of dollars or pounds to get the overseas education, a semester abroad program can help you get the same opportunities, international education and exposure, let's find out how.

It gives you a chance to see the world.

One of the biggest reasons why you should opt for a semester abroad program is because it gives you the opportunity to experience a life in a brand-new country with new people and a new way of life.

It provides you with global education

A semester abroad program gives you the chance of experiencing a different style of education, which allows you to witness numerous things that you are not exposed to at home.

Helps you learn about new cultures

As you arrive in your new host country, you tend to explore people from various cultural background and values and explore new ways of life. You also try incredible types of food, experience different customs, traditions, and social atmospheres which help you learn a lot about life.

Develops your personality

Honestly, there is nothing better than being on your own in a foreign country. You discover new things at every step, also learning about your independent and self-driven nature. All of these things add up to your personality, along with your adaptability to fit into diverse situations, enhancing your overall personality.

Also provides you with exciting career opportunities

When you finish your semester abroad program and return home, you return home with a new perspective on culture, languages, skills, and education, a-lot more willingness to learn. All of these things appear very attractive to your future employer that directly increases your career opportunities.

Voices: Indians in New Zealand since 1769

In 1769, the first two Indians to set foot in Aotearoa came ashore.
This little known fact - along with many others – comes to light in a new book on the 250-year history of Indians to New Zealand and Australia, which traces the diaspora from its earliest days until now.
“The very first Indians to set foot on Aotearoa were not settlers - but sailors,” says Sehkar Bandyopadhyay, Professor of Asian History at Victoria University of Wellington.
Among the sailors were two Muslims, Mahmud Qasim and Nasrin, who boarded the French ship Saint Jean Baptiste, captained by Jean Francois Marie de Surville, at the French colony of Pondicherry, India.
