2017 University of Melbourne International Postgraduate Coursework Awards (IPCA), Australia

 is pleased to offer up to 28 scholarships for international students in -2018 academic session. Scholarships will be awarded to undertake postgraduate degree program in any discipline.
The University of Melbourne aims to assist international students who require financial assistance with scholarships.
Established in 1853, the University of Melbourne is a public-spirited institution that makes distinctive contributions to society in research, learning and teaching and engagement. It is consistently ranked among the leading universities in the world, with international rankings of world universities placing it as number 1 in Australia and number 33 in the world (Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2015-2016).
Applicants must not be in receipt of any other tuition fee remission scholarship or sponsorship which, in combination with the IPCA, exceeds 100% of tuition fees. The University of Melbourne TOEFL Institution Code is 0974. Please use this code so that your results can be reported to us. Some faculties may accept graduate students with a slightly lower IELTS, TOEFL, Pearson Test of English or CAE score.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing undertaking a postgraduate coursework degree at the University of Melbourne.
Study Subject(s): Scholarships are awarded for following programs:
List of Subjects: Any master degree by coursework offered by the Melbourne business school, Melbourne School of Design and Melbourne School of Engineering; Master of Science in Botany, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Genetics, Geography, Mathematics & Statistics, Physics or Zoology, Master of Urban Horticulture and the Master of Forest Ecosystems offered by the Melbourne Graduate School of Science; Master of Teaching offered by the Melbourne Graduate School of Education; Executive Master of Arts offered by the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences and Melbourne Law Masters offered by the Melbourne Law School.
Scholarship Award: The scholarship provides fee remissions of between 25% and 100% of tuition fees for the duration of your course.

Eligibility: To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must:
  • A citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand and not a permanent resident of Australia;
  • Have applied for an eligible graduate coursework degree,
  • Be commencing study at the University of Melbourne for the first time;
  • Not be in receipt of any other tuition fee remission scholarship or sponsorship which, in combination with the IPCA, exceeds 100% of tuition fees; and
  • Not have received any other scholarship provided by the Australian Government in the last 2 years.
Nationality: International Postgraduate Coursework Awards (IPCA) are open for international students.
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand and not a permanent resident of Australia.
Test Requirement: Not required

How to Apply: Applicants do not need to submit an application for this scholarship. Students who have received an unconditional offer for an eligible graduate coursework degree, will be automatically considered for an international postgraduate coursework award. Applicants will need to provide scans, certified copies* or original copies of your academic results, and proof of English proficiency.
