ICMS International Scholarship for Undergraduate Students in Australia, 2016

The International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) is pleased to offer an international scholarship for student who will be commencing their studies in May 2016. Applicants must be applying to start a bachelor degree program.

Scholarship Award: The scholarship is to the total value of approximately AU$ 25,000 and partial scholarships may be awarded. Partial scholarships will not be less than $10,000 and may be applied to the scholarship recipient’s tuition and/or accommodation.

Eligibility: To be eligible applicants:
-All applicants must hold an international passport. This excludes dual citizens of Australia and elsewhere, permanent residents and temporary residents.
-A scholarship to an International student who will be commencing their studies at ICMS in May 2016.

College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have International Baccalaureate – IB Diploma with a score of 24.  They must have A-Level Examinations (Cambridge International or Edexcel GCE) – aggregate score of 10 or higher (Note: Score is based on the best three Advanced Level subjects in one sitting where A*=6, A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1. Two AS Leel subjects may be substituted for one A Level subject.).
Test Requirement: ICMS also accepts the following qualifications and associated English grade as as meeting the English Proficiency requirements for entry into higher education courses (undergraduate):
-Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE): 169 overall, 162 in writing, 162 in speaking.
-Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE): 180 overall, 180 in writing, 180 in speaking.
-Common European Framework (CEFR): B2
-GCE ‘A’ Levels: D pass in English at full Advanced (A2)
-GCSE/GCE ‘O’ Levels: C pass in English
-International Baccalaureate (IB): English B at higher level (min grade 4) or English B at Standard level (min grade 5) or English A or A2: literature or language and literature at higher or standard level (min. grade 4)
English Language Requirements: –IELTS (academic): Overall 6.0; Writing 5.5; Speaking 5.5, or
-TOEFL i-BT: Overall 69; Writing 19; Speaking 17, or
-Pearson (academic): Overall 50; Writing 42; Speaking 42.

Vice-Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship in UK, 2016-2017

Queen’s University Belfast is now accepting applications for Vice-Chancellor’s international attainment scholarship. Scholarships are available to undertake undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research programme at Queen’s University Belfast.

Queen’s University Belfast today is an international centre of research and education and a major part of the fabric of Northern Ireland.
Queen’s University will continue to accept the IELTS Academic (both SELT and non-SELT), and TOEFL internet-based tests for direct admission to undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes, if taken within the past two years.

A full fee scholarship will be awarded to an exceptionally talented international student who will be starting their full-time postgraduate research programme at Queen’s University Belfast in September 2016.

Eligibility: Scholarships are available to undertake undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research programme in diverse fields to help students in upgrading their education, Scholarship criteria is:
-Students must be classified as international students paying the international tuition fee rate in order to be considered for this scheme. Students paying NI/GB/EU fees are not eligible for international scholarships.
-Students must hold an offer for a place on a full-time undergraduate and postgraduate taught programme at the Queen’s University Belfast campus, starting in the academic year 2016-17 and meet any academic and language conditions attached to their offer as stated in their offer letter.
-Students studying on a part-time basis, on foundation degrees or distance learning programmes are not eligible for these scholarships.
Exclusions
Non-standard fee courses, including Medicine, Dentistry, Agricultural Technology, Theology, PG Certificate and PG Diploma programmes, and MTh Theology.
-All Distance Learning programmes, foundation degree programmes and non-standard fee courses.
-External PhD programmes where students only undertake part of their research at Queen’s University.
-Higher Doctorates – Doctor of Divinity (DD), Doctor of Laws (LLD), Doctor of Letters (DLitt), Doctor of Science (DSc), Doctor of Science (Economics) (DSc(Econ)), Doctor of Science, (Education) (DSc(Ed)) and Doctor of Social Science (DSSc)
-PhD programmes by Published Works

English Language Requirements: Universities have discretion to choose the methods by which they assess the English language competence of students.  Queen’s University will continue to accept the IELTS Academic (both SELT and non-SELT), and TOEFL internet-based tests for direct admission to undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes, if taken within the past two years. 
Supporting Material: To make sure application is processed in the fastest possible time, applicants should scan and upload the following supporting documents along with their application. Applicants may not be able to make a decision on their application until they have received all their relevant documents. Please provided good quality scanned copies of the following:
-Degree transcripts for all periods of study they have completed (undergraduate level and above). These documents show their grades for individual units studied throughout applicant’s degree.
-If applicants’ degree is still in progress, they must also provide a transcript. These can be requested from their University.  Please include the grading scheme if this is included on their transcript.
-Copies of official Degree/Diploma Certificates, for the qualification/s have already completed. These are the documents that confirm the level and title of qualification/s, for example, Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.
-Certified translations, if original documents are not in English. If applicants do not have translations at the time of application, please forward by email when available.
-Research proposal (for MPhil/PhD applicants only).
-English language requirements: International and EU applicants will need to show evidence of an acceptable level of proficiency in the English language.

India Merit Postgraduate Scholarships at University of Sheffield in UK, 2016



University of Sheffield is pleased to offer range of scholarships to students of high academic ability for 2016 entry. Indian students are eligible to apply for these scholarships to undertake postgraduate program at the university.
The university aims to assist international students who require financial assistance with scholarships specifically for Indian students.
The university is ranked 97th in the world and 15th in the UK according to the 2015-16 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
There are high entrance requirements for masters degree programmes at Sheffield which reflect the quality of the University. Applicants may be required to take an internationally recognized English language test such as IELTS.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for international students to pursue masters degree program.
Study Subject: Scholarships are tenable in all subject areas at the university of Sheffield.
Scholarship Award: Each scholarship is worth 50% of the postgraduate yearly tuition fee per year. The scholarships will take the form of a fee reduction.
Scholarship can be taken at: UK
Eligibility: Scholarship has its own set of eligibility criteria which applicants should check carefully to make sure applicants are eligible before they apply. The scholarship will be awarded to international on the basis of merit and the supporting statement.
–To be eligible for the Scholarship,  applicants must be self-funding and classed as ‘Overseas’ for fee purposes AND an Indian national or permanently domiciled in India, apply for a study place by Friday 17 June 2016 for entry in September 2016.
–If applicants wish to be considered for this scholarship applicants need to apply online, the application link will be distributed to eligible students by email from January onwards.

College Admission Requirement: A good undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification, Three years to five years’ postgraduate work experience. This should include appropriate experience as a manager or in a supervisory role and On occasion, the university may consider delegates without a first degree but with significant management experience
English Language Requirements: Applicants may be required to take an internationally recognised English language test such as IELTS. Applicants need IELTS 7.0 with no component below 6.

-Applicants have to write a personal statement.
