Coventry  university Nigeria High Achievers Scholarship for Postgraduates in UK, 2016

Coventry University is pleased to offer High Achievers Scholarships for pursuing full-time postgraduate programme. Students from Nigeria are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

In order to obtain a Tier 4 student visa, applicants are required to demonstrate that they have the correct level of English language competency to study in the UK. The requirements differ dependent on whether they are applying to study a Foundation or Pre-Sessional English programme or those who wish to study at undergraduate or postgraduate degree level.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing Postgraduate programme.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in multiple subjects offered by the university.

Scholarship Award: 5 awards of £2000 towards tuition fees available for the best and brightest postgraduate students from Nigeria.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for scholarships:
-The Nigeria High Achievers Scholarship is available to all Nigerian students applying for full-time postgraduate programmes who have submitted an application for study before 22nd July 2016.
-The Scholarships are allocated to applicants on the basis of their academic merit. Allocation will be decided on assessment of the following;
-Academic qualifications (at least a 1st class degree or equivalent qualifications)
-Understanding of the course and motivation to study at Coventry
-Extra-curricular or work experience
-This award is for international fee payers only.

Nationality: Nigerian students are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

ICMS International Scholarship for Undergraduate Students in Australia, 2016

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have International Baccalaureate – IB Diploma with a score of 24.  They must have A-Level Examinations (Cambridge International or Edexcel GCE) – aggregate score of 10 or higher (Note: Score is based on the best three Advanced Level subjects in one sitting where A*=6, A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1. Two AS Leel subjects may be substituted for one A Level subject.).

Test Requirement: ICMS also accepts the following qualifications and associated English grade as as meeting the English Proficiency requirements for entry into higher education courses (undergraduate):
-Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE): 169 overall, 162 in writing, 162 in speaking.
-Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE): 180 overall, 180 in writing, 180 in speaking.
-Common European Framework (CEFR): B2
-GCE ‘A’ Levels: D pass in English at full Advanced (A2)

King’s India Scholarships for MPhil/PhD Research Degree Program in UK, 2016

King’s College London is offering, ‘King’s India Scholarships’ in 2016-2017. Scholarships are available for full time MPhil/PhD degree progammes.

The aim of the King’s India Scholarship is to enable and encourage academically able students from India.

The objective of King’s College London is to manage the student life cycle from admission to graduation to ensure a coherent and seamless student experience and effective administrative process.

If applicants’ first language is not English they must be able to provide recent evidence that their spoken and written command of the English language is adequate for the programmes for which they have applied.

Course Level: MPhil/PhD research degree programme at King’s College London during the 2016/17.

Study Subject: Scholarships are offered in diverse fields to help students in upgrading their education.

College Admission Requirement 

Entrance Requirement: Applications for joint PhD programmes must be approved by both King’s College London and the University of Hong Kong before a formal offer can be made. As such, the process may take longer than for a single PhD programme. Students are able to apply for the scholarship whilst their application is being considered in order to meet the set deadline.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirements: If your first language is not English you must be able to provide recent evidence that your spoken and written command of the English language is adequate for the programmes for which you have applied. The level of English language you are required to demonstrate is dependent upon the programme for which you have applied. The level of English required for each programme is denoted by a five-band system, each band corresponds to a level of English language competence.

How to Apply: In order to be considered for an award, candidates must:
-First, apply to King’s College London for a research degree programme using the online admissions application
2)Submit an online international student PGR funding application form to the Graduate School by the funding deadline of 16:00 GMT, 29 January 2016. Note that this should only be done after you have applied for admissions.
