Czech Republic Government Scholarships for Foreign Students, 2018-2019

Czech Republic Government offers scholarships for foreign students in the 2018-2019 academic session. University/college students or graduates and PhD candidates (exceptionally also for university researchers/teachers) are eligible to apply for this scholarship. This is awarded to undertake study or research program.
Czech Republic Government offers a number of general and subject-specific funding schemes. The aim of the scholarships is to attract the best and most motivated people to Czech Republic.
One hundred and sixty five years have passed in 2013 since the establishment of the Ministry of Education, a central organ of state administration, which was founded by Supreme Edict No. LXXI/34 Coll. of 23rd March 1848. The Ministry was headquartered in Vienna, exerting its authority over the whole territory of the monarchy of that time.
The Czech for Foreigners Portal provides an overview and comprehensive information for foreigners who are applying for permanent residence in the Czech Republic or for Czech citizenship and will be taking the Czech Language Exam or Czech Life and Institutions Exam.
