Diploma Scholarships for Maltese Students at United World Colleges, 2018

The United World Colleges is happy to announce the International Baccalaureate Diploma Scholarships for the academic session of 2018-2020. These scholarships are available for Maltese students.
The aim of the scholarships is to deliver a challenging and transformative education.
United World Colleges (or UWC) is an educational organization with which schools, shorter educational programmes, national committees in more than 150 countries are affiliated.
Course Level:  These scholarships are available to pursue International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.
Study Subject: These scholarships are awarded in the fields offered by the university.
Scholarship Award: These scholarships will cover the following:
  • Scholarships (either on a needs-based or partially funded basis).
Number of Scholarships: Two scholarships are available.
Scholarship can be taken in Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina
Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
  • Aged between 16 and 18 years old by December 2018;
  • Enrolled in a Malta-based school/educational institute for the past 3 years (i.e. since 2014);
  • Completed your secondary education or your first/second year at a post-secondary institute by June 2018.
Nationality: Maltese applicants can apply for these scholarships.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have completed secondary education.
English Language Requirement: Applicants must have sufficient knowledge of the language of instruction of the host university.
How to Apply: Applicants can apply by post.
  • Completed application form;
  • Two essays on separate pieces of paper;
  • Two references in sealed envelopes; and
  • A copy of your latest school report/academic results
Application Deadline: The application deadline is December 15, 2017.
