University International Scholarships for Undergraduate Students in UK, 2016



University of Brighton is inviting applications International Scholarships from undergraduate students. Students studying foundation degrees or undergraduate degrees at University of Brighton partner colleges are not eligible for these scholarships. The scholarship is £3,000 off the cost of your tuition fees for each year of your course. There are four application deadlines throughout the year: 31 January, 31 March, 31 May, and 31 July 2016.

Eligibility: To be eligible to apply for a scholarship you must be a new, full-time, international fee-status student holding an offer for an undergraduate taught degree with a minimum course duration of three years.
-You must have applied for the course of your choice at the University of Brighton or Brighton and Sussex Medical School, and have been offered a place on that course for 2016 entry.
-Students studying foundation degrees or undergraduate degrees at University of Brighton partner colleges are not eligible for these scholarships.
-These scholarships are not open to students that are fully sponsored.
-Existing international students are not eligible unless starting a new undergraduate programme.
Scholarship Open for International Students: International Students can apply for these scholarships.
Scholarship Description: In 2016 there are 10 University of Brighton international scholarships available to new, full-time international undergraduate taught-degree students. The scholarship is £3,000 off the cost of your tuition fees for each year of your course.

What does it cover? The scholarship is £3,000 off the cost of your tuition fees for each year of your course.
Selection criteria: The criteria for awarding University of Brighton international scholarships are primarily merit-based. Merit does not necessarily have to mean academic merit but could also be interpreted to include outstanding performance in a variety of spheres. The strongest candidates will be those demonstrating a mixture of academic merit (including English language ability) and other merit or outstanding achievement in a particular field of activity. You will also need to show that you have sufficient funds to pay the remainder of the fees.
Notification: Decisions will be made by an awards committee coordinated by the International Office and Academic Services, and decisions about scholarship awards will be communicated to applicants approximately two weeks after those dates.
How to Apply: For the 2016 academic year, please email internationalscholarships-at-brighton.ac.uk with your University of Brighton student number or UCAS number in the subject line, and we will send you a scholarship application pack. The application form can then be returned electronically to the same email address or sent by post to the address indicated on the scholarship application form. Please note application forms will not be sent to students who do not have an offer of a full-time place with us.
Scholarship Application Deadline: There are four application deadlines throughout the year: 31 January, 31 March, 31 May, and 31 July 2016. International Postgraduate Coursework Awards (IPCA) in Australia, 2016


The University of Melbourne annually awards up to 28 International Postgraduate Coursework Awards (IPCA). To be considered for an IPCA, applicants need to have an unconditional course offer in one of the postgraduate coursework programs. The scholarship provides fee remissions of between 25% and 100% of tuition fees for the duration of your course. Scholarships are awarded each year based on academic merit to outstanding international students. The application deadline is 28 February 2016.

-not in receipt of any other tuition fee remission scholarship or sponsorship which, in combination with the IPCA, exceeds 100% of tuition fees; and
-not have received any other scholarship provided by the Australian Government in the last 2 years.

How to Apply: Applicants do not need to submit an application for this scholarship. Students who have received an unconditional offer for an eligible graduate coursework degree, will be automatically considered for an International Postgraduate Coursework Award.

Edinburgh Global Online Distance Learning Master’s Scholarships in UK, 2016



University of Edinburgh is offering four online distance learning scholarships for master’s programmes. The scholarship will be awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level or the international equivalent.
